ABOUT ME

I'm a London-based editor with a rich multicultural background — originally from Venezuela and with deep Italian roots. My passion for storytelling spans across documentaries, drama, and animation, bringing diverse perspectives and cinematic visions to life.

With credits on a range of high-profile projects, I’ve recently worked on the feature documentary Andrea Bocelli: Because I Believe directed by Cosima Spender (premiered at TIFF) and The Man Who Definitely Didn't Steal Hollywood directed by John Dower. As well as the documentary series Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar for BBC Arts. In the past, I contributed to the BAFTA-winning Ambulance for BBC One and the critically acclaimed Murder in Italy for BBC4 Storyville & Sky Italy, which was selected as Sky Atlantic’s Best Non-Scripted Series Debut of 2017.

 

In the world of short films, my graduation documentary Side by Side was nominated for a Grierson Award, and I received the Royal Television Society’s Best Postgraduate Documentary Award, as well as the Best Editing Award. In 2015, I was also honored as Best Editor at the BAFTA-qualified Underwire Film Festival for my work on Satan Has a Bushy Tail. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Rose Glass on Room 55, a sexy bondage thriller which won Best Cinematography at Camerimage, and Pineapple Calamari, a quirky animation that took home the Best Short Animation Award at the Oscar-qualifying Fantastic Film Festival Sitges.

Fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, I thrive on the power of narrative, whether it’s through the lens of a camera or the depth of a documentary.

 

Beyond editing, I’m deeply inspired by bird watching, hiking and the enchanting worlds of magical realism.
